I guess the fashion and the pop up bars and live events are still a thing but its SUPER HARD to be both creative and fun these days. like in order to go out and enjoy something thats not an $8 Aldi german riesling, u have to do side hustles and there isn't rlly time to be super creative a la Mapplethorpe
and on top of economy related stuff, these days it's more frowned upon to be hyper earnest abt things, which has a direct flow-on effect. e.g. why do creative work or start a NFP and risk your peers making fun of you, when u can just listen to boiler room at the gym and get scratch tattoos and be a microinfluencer getting free stuff
